It's recruiting brainfood for the week ahead

Today is my birthday. I’m going to ask you for gift.
Friends, we all need to care about the world we live in.
Deforestation over the past 500 years has had massive impact on our planet. We have lost biodiversity, reduced the fertility of our soils, increased flood risk to our communities and accelerated climate change which one day might threaten very the survival of our species. None of us can escape the consequences of the damage done - by us - to our environment. And none should escape from the responsibility of doing something about it.
Recruiting Brainfood
I’ve been curating this newsletter for nearly 3 years. Throughout this time, I have resisted all calls to move to paid subscription model, because I believe that something that adds value to the community should stay free at point use to as many people in that community for as long as possible. But today, I’m going to make a change
Some numbers for you
  • 138 newsletters sent
  • 2145 articles, research papers, reports, podcasts, videos delivered
  • 1 searchable archive created
  • 13,780 subscribers and counting
  • $1 = 1 tree planted
  • 10 x trees per subscriber
  • 138,780 trees planted
A question for you: Has Recruiting Brainfood given you $10.00 of value since you’ve been a subscriber? If the answer is ‘no’ - then I’m sorry (!) and please email me directly and let me know how it could improve. If the answer is 'yes’, click on this link now, donate $10.00 - or your local currency equivalent - and join me in planting the Brainfood Forest.
Spread the word: Share this newsletter (https://www.recruitingbrainfood.com/) on a LinkedIn status update with the hashtag #brainfoodforest. Tell your network that you’re planting trees with brainfood and encourage your fellow 'foodies to do the same.
This is a 7 day campaign only. I’ll report back next week and let you know how we’re doing. Will we have a brainfood copse or a brainfood forest? I’d like to think we can have a forest ;-)
Thank you all - very much - for your love and support.
